The Whittlesea City Basketball Association (WCBA) has announced the appointment of Christopher Tighe as its new General Manager, ushering in a fresh chapter for one of Victoria’s fastest-growing basketball communities.
Tighe brings a deep well of experience to the role, having previously served as General Manager of the Sunbury Basketball Association from 2016 to 2024. Over his eight-year tenure, he guided Sunbury through significant growth, elevated community engagement, and played a key role in strengthening basketball pathways across the region. His leadership contributed to thriving participation numbers, improved high-performance opportunities, and a more connected basketball community.
